Cardio Cocktail has ACAI
Açaí is an exceptional component of fats, and contains a high amount of beta-sitosterol. These oil compartments in açaí fruit harbor dense contents of polyphenols such as procyanidin oligmers and vanillic acid, syringic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, protocatechuic acid, and ferulic acid. Açaí has antioxidant properties and among the fruit pulps has the fifth-most antioxidant potency, with a TEAC (Trolox equivalent antioxidant activity) score of 6.9 mmol g (while the highest scoring domestic fruit, acerola, scored 53.2 mmol g).
When açaí juice were compared for in vitro antioxidant capacity against red wine, tea, six types of pure fruit juice, and pomegranate juice, it ranked lower than that of pomegranate juice, Concord grape juice, blueberry juice, and red wine. It was roughly equivalent to that of black cherry or cranberry juice, and was higher than that of orange juice, apple juice, and tea. Studies however have demonstrated that blood antioxidant capacity increases within two hours of consuming açaí juice.
